If you want to swim in this market…You had better know the tides!
Planning to buy or sell in San Francisco?
With over 20 years experience in the real estate profession…
I know the tides…
“Experience makes a difference”
Tom started out in real estate by selling ranch parcels at Lake Berryessa, California in 1972. From ranch sales, his career diversified into appraising, purchasing, renovating, and the re-sale of residential and income properties for a private investor. During the 1980’s Tom personally purchased, renovated, and sold approximately fifty investment properties on his own account throughout the Bay Area. This “hands on” experience in purchasing, renovations, and sales has proven to be a valuable resource for many of his clients. From 1987 to the present Tom has remained active in residential and investment brokerage. Among numerous other credentials, Tom is a licensed Real Estate Broker.
About the San Francisco Real Estate Market…
Tom has exceptional marketing skills and he consistently achieves over asking prices for his sellers. When representing buyers, he is extremely aggressive and creative. These attributes are essential to successfully competing in this extremely difficult market.
“Today’s San Francisco real estate market is very sophisticated and demanding. More than ever you need the best possible representation for your real estate needs. Whether you’re buying or selling there is a vast number of details, inspections, and paperwork that must be provided for and reviewed. A significant amount of my time is devoted towards facilitating this process. There are lenders, escrow officers, inspection service companies, and many times an assortment of tradespersons and licensed contractors involved. This can be both time-consuming and overwhelming. I have the simplified the process for buyers and sellers by aligning my clients with a very competent and qualified team of resource professionals dedicated towards making your next real estate transaction a smooth one.”
A Successful Approach to Real Estate…
“There is no mystery to success in the real estate business. Success requires a lot of hard work, expertise, and you must follow up on the details. My approach to any given real estate transaction is to keep things simple and then make it happen. First, I listen to the needs of my clients. I explain all the options, the pros and cons of any decisions to be made and then, after my clients have made their decision, I take care of the details. My relationship with my clients is to be organized, professional, and to maintain a healthy respect for the value of their time. From my many years in the business, I have developed extensive background knowledge of the areas and properties in San Francisco to help with pricing and value. In addition to this, I have also developed the negotiation skills needed to make many real estate transactions happen where others have failed.”
“I love San Francisco. San Francisco is more than just a place to live…it is an adventure. I love the people, the diversity, and, of course, the restaurants. This City has something for everybody and when a place gives you so much, I believe you have to give it back. Therefore, I am very involved in the community and several outreach programs.”
